1. Yes I do. Taking a rights-based approach would enable journalists to then invoke these rights and therefore everyone should have an equal opportunity. Internationally this would be more difficult to implement as many countries have governments with different ideologies who could oppose this. If it were to be legislated internationally, governments wouldn’t have a way to interfere as it would be a right. Some may consider this approach too harsh but in reality it might be the best and only way to combat these injustices.
